Since some of you asked me to keep posting on LJ some of my #LuxWorldProblems posts that I've outsourced to twitter, here's a few more of my more amusing thoughts.

FYI: I still do the eating blueberries thing because I promised my doctor I would try it for 2 months. I'm planning to arrive with a spreadsheet of data :)

I know blueberries are supposed to be good for you but I didn't know they could do quite so much! :)

I live in a place where economic 'elite' status is dictated by what you DON'T own .... Not sure how that makes any sense but OK! Boston's elite are a weird breed of cat. :/

Not Boston, Cambridge. The quirky city across the river. Home to 2 of of the top three  I live and work here and it's a strange place my friend. Here's what I think is the idea behind it...
TVs and other types of entertainment devices are addictive, mentally degrading items. Owning something like that would be similar to using crack-- and perpetuates more mentally degrading behavior like buying more passive entertainment devices to sit in front of slack-jawed like an animal.

What the real elite do is read, travel, or participate in cultural activities.

So I did a quick google search to try and find a site that explains the culture here and this is what came up:

They're fabulous frozen. But at the end of two months, do you get to go off the wagon and muffin or smoothie those babies?

Presumably because the elites are so busy having a 'real life' they don't need 'fake' one. Lots of social-psychology behind that one, but it's obvious to me, it's the correct form of 'elite', because the old "he dies with the most toys" one is just proof people are lemmings.

I'm a fan of using the frozen ones for smoothies myself :)
